i have been around the people who
is responsible for the promotion
in the gas areas and the excuses
that i have heard for not promoting
you people is sorry. there is no
real reason that even i could believe.
it is really about race,color and
friendship. you blacks don't really
have anybody to talk for you. and 
that is the hard truth. the people
that is doing the promoting earnestly
don't believe they did anything
wrong. they think that blacks should
be thankful to be crew leaders.
their thinking is sick. we check it
out for ourselves. we have come a
long ways at mlg&w, but you blacks
got a long way to go in gas and water.

at my church this morning. all the
sisters went to the altar and said
a pray for gas. then all the brothers
went to the altar and prayed for the
gas department. then our pastor said
an over all prayer for gas and water
departments. we felt the spirit this
morning. we no our god can change

refusing to promote a black to
supervisor. my pastor told us this
morning that he has talked to several

my pastor said the election is next

issue.it look like black in not moving
forward when you get below the level
of vice president.position of managers

you guys for a jobs well done. yall
handle the union meeting so good.
I learned more in this union meeting
than I have in a long time. Yall
boys is good. I see why the union is
so together. That is because you boys are
together. Both of yall gave out alot
of great information at the meeting. This
is the first time I have seen the 
Union break down and address everybody
problems by department.I liked how
Rick addressed what Barbara Richman
was doing with the grievance process.
And how they were messing up customer
Service.This was a good meeting.

my pastor said he did all he could
to help stop the sale of mlgw. and
this is the way employees is being
treated in gas and water as well
as customer service people. my church
members is upset. i past flyers out
in my church and in my community. MLG&W
is owned by the people of memphis
so the people need to no how they are
treating the employees.
